Chris’ Choice…Woman of the Week

Lynn Von Kersting

Lynn Von Kersting is a dear friend of mine. A talented designer, the owner of the wonderful décor shop ‘Indigo Seas’, two restaurants – ‘The Ivy’ & ‘Ivy at the Shore’ and an incredible bakery ‘Dolce Isola’, she is a true renaissance woman! Lynn’s home in California was once owned by film director George Cukor. The former gathering spot for Hollywood legends such as Katharine Hepburn & Cary Grant, the house still has its structural integrity and wonderful spirit thanks to the efforts of Lynn. I’ve visited her home a number of times and photographed it for many of my books, and I am always in awe of her design aesthetic, creativity, and passion.
