Good Housekeeping UNVEILS NOVEMBER YOUR GOOD HOUSE SUPPLEMENT FEATURING CELEBRITY DESIGNER CHRIS MADDEN -- Unique Partnership to Continue Through 2007 --

NEW YORK, NY (October 9, 2006) – Good Housekeeping magazine, which reaches more that 25 million women each month, has unveiled its first Your Good House supplement featuring design guru Chris Madden.

Last spring, Good Housekeeping and Chris Madden Inc. announced their intention to bring together Good Housekeeping’s home-focused upper-demographic edition, Your Good House, and celebrated designer Chris Madden. Circulated to Good Housekeeping’s highest-income subscribers and reaching a total of seven million readers, the Your Good House supplements traditionally focus on interior design and remodeling, contemporary lifestyle issues and epicurean features.

Madden, who is on the cover of the November Your Good House, is featured in an article titled “At Home with Designer Chris Madden.” In the eight-page piece, she redecorates her home using easy-to-love (and easy-to-afford) pieces from her own collection of furnishings available at JCPenney. “My house is my laboratory,” says Chris of the renovated 1916 stone carriage house in Westchester County, New York.

This partnership is a first in that Good Housekeeping and Chris Madden are working together on the content of each issue. In addition to this November 2006 edition, two more Madden-focused issues of Your Good House will be published in 2007.

Your Good House reaches an unduplicated audience when compared to shelter publications, and all copies of the issue featuring Chris Madden will reach a paid circulation of more than 1,000,000 subscribers, who in fact pay considerably more in price per copy than comparative shelter books.

Your Good House is not available on newsstands. For those interested in the Chris Madden feature, the article is available on Good Housekeeping’s Web site, www.goodhousekeeping.com, starting on October 16.
